presents with pelvic pain.
UA normal.
Negative pregnancy test.
The cause of the patient’s pelvic pain is unclear.
However, based on history, exam, and testing, I do not suspect that there is an emergency cause of the pain, such as, but not limited to, ectopic pregnancy, tubo-ovarian abscess, ovarian torsion, severe hemorrhagic cyst, severe pelvic inflammatory disease, appendicitis, or other intraabdominal infection.
Will discharge home with strict return precautions and advice to follow up with primary care doctor in next 24-48 hours for further evaluation.
